Observations and Comments.
What healthy people can see is only part of the changes caused by stroke. No, a person can't walk or talk as well and feels much less coordinated, but why?  Ask why.  Ask how it feels.  Part of the brain is dead.  The mind is different and so is the body.

Personal and Medical History.
It seemed like it was important for readers to know about Ed's personal life and his family history.  I've included it here.

The Stroke.
The stroke or brain attack may not be as important as what comes afterward, recovery, but without a stroke - we wouldn't have to be rehabilitated.

Coping with the Aftermath of Stroke.
What happens after a stroke should tear at your heart.  Some people have a healthy positive attitude and others do not.  Most have some level of disability and work to improve or overcome it.

Therapists, the Unsung Heroes.
Therapists helped Ed along, even when he did not think he deserved or wanted any help.  This is his tribute to them.

Your Family Loves You Unconditionally.
Ed has a wife, grandkids, and so on and so forth.  They affected his stroke recovery.

You Can Pick Your Friends.
Sometimes friends are worthy of your trust and sometimes they let you down.

Laughter and Funny Stuff.
You cannot get through life after a stroke if you are all serious and don';t laugh.  Things have to be fuinny!
